STEM occupation salaries

The following link depicts beginning salaries and salary potential for many STEM professions.  It is amazing how many people may not be aware of just how encompassing a STEM education can be.

The Maker Movement

I found this article interesting and wondered if/how area educators are using some of these tools.  I was also excited to learn about a new movement, the Maker Movement, which encourages people to make things by hand, and how it might be one of the most important keys to improving STEM education in this country.   The article even offers a link to a great Maker website, which includes forums to share project ideas and a blog.  Educators and parents can get some great ideas for things for students to conceptualize, create and build.

I am going to see what I can find out if there is anyone keeping official record of where and how such types of technology are being used within our area schools.  It might be time to toot some horns. 🙂

This blog will follow the technology trends in education as well as serve as a resource for technologies used in education.

The face of education is evolving!  Be a part of it!
